Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau resigns as party leader

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau resigned from his position as the leader of the Liberal Party on Monday. Just look at Germany, where Chancellor Olaf Scholz lost a vote of confidence in his government, or France’s unprecedented government. He lost to the opposition Conservative Party. His popularity is not at the same level; polls at the time showed him with an approval rating of over 60%. “I am prepared to step down as party leader and leader,” Trudeau said at a news conference in Ottawa on Monday. “I am prepared to step down as party leader and leader,” Trudeau said. “If I have to fight the next election, I will not be able to do it,” he added, adding the longevity, generosity and determination of Canadians. Trudeau said he is the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and has been the country’s prime minister for nine years. At the time of Trudeau’s resignation, Reuters reported that the Liberal Party was scheduled to hold an emergency conference on Canada’s former leader Chrystia Freeland. Freeland, the finance minister who resigned last month, said she made the decision after Trudeau asked her to step down to become an observer. She will work on finance and other executives. He also said he would resign. What that means is that the Trudeau government is struggling as the election approaches. Trudeau’s prospects were further damaged last month when several members of his cabinet resigned. He has resigned from the cabinet. Freeland said she made the decision after Trudeau asked her to resign as finance minister and work for another prime minister. She has also said she will resign.
